There are many ways to support HOM and MICEC in addition to going on a mission trip or making a donation. The ways to help are limited only by your imagination!
Be a Host
Our Haitian leaders travel to the U.S. and Canada at various times throughout the year sharing about our ministry. Although there are no fees involved in having them, we greatly appreciate any contribution to help defray travel and housing expenses. If your church or organization would like to schedule a visit by the Pastors, Leon Dorleans, Luc Aristhene, and Profaite Medeus or any of our other traveling representatives please click here to coordinate a visit.
We appreciate your flexibility in scheduling, as we strive to keep travel itineraries as fluid and practical as possible. Pastors and representatives are also available during the week, so please consider this option for a visit, as there are a limited number of Sunday’s.
Our HOM Board Members and Leaders are also available to talk to you or your group about our ministry throughout the year.
Many people have found special ways to help the ministry. There have been bake sales, car washes and proceeds from community wide garage sales. Churches have made pillowcase dresses, packed care boxes, held fundraisers. Individuals have asked for donations rather than gifts for special occasions. There are as many ways to help as there are creative, caring supporters. If you wish to donate goods or have a specific project in mind you’d like to support, please contact us to determine if your donation or project will help meet our current ministry needs.
Due to the difficulty of shipping items to Haiti, we do not recommend sending items (other than standard-size envelopes) directly to Haiti. We have many supporters who travel to Haiti routinely and we can contact them on your behalf to arrange for transportation. If you are traveling to Haiti and are willing to transport donated items, please let us know!
Please note that no one may use the Haiti Outreach Ministries (HOM) name or logo for fundraising purposes or on any written materials or products without the advanced permission of HOM. Only items made by Haitian artists and craftsmen are allowed in the Terre Noire gift shop. Contact us at email@example.com for more information about our policies.

Charitable Auto Resources, Inc. (CARS™) accepts car donations for Haiti Outreach Ministries and other charitable organizations in the United States.
CARS handles everything from the first call to collecting the vehicles, bringing them to a car donation center and selling the vehicle through whatever sales venue that will generate the highest revenue. They handle distribution of the proceeds to the non-profit organization, sending the donor the final documentation including a thank you letter and providing any donor follow-up needed after the process is complete. With the increased numbers of churches, individuals and organizations in the US and Canada, our Haitian pastors have been called upon to travel more extensively than in the past. While we welcome this opportunity for them to share about Haiti this has significantly increased the travel expenses for HOM. Therefore, if you, friends or members of your congregation would be willing to donate a minimum of 25,000 frequent flier miles from American, Delta, Southwest, United, US Air and other airlines, please contact us for more information. Note that in most cases this donation will require the assistance of the donor in booking the flight on behalf of the passenger. Contact Dennis Moneyhon to receive additional information.
We are grateful for all those volunteers that have specialized experience in fields and professions that have donated their time. Unique ways you can help are certainly not limited to the list below:
• pray, set aside time each day to pray for our ministers and leaders, our board members and volunteers and the people of Haiti network with local churches and organizations
• grant writing
• assist with housing and travel arrangements for our leaders
