Carol visited Haiti for the first time in 2007 looking for a pathway to Christian service after the loss of her husband. Since that time she has led and participated in multiple mission trips, including nine to Haiti. Her passion for reaching out to others has inspired her to devote time to both community and global projects. She is an elder at White Memorial Presbyterian Church in Raleigh, NC and has served on their Haiti Committee (2007-2009, chair; 2010-present, member) and as chair of their Outreach efforts (2010-2012). Carol is also actively involved in various professional organizations and enjoys hiking the Appalachian Trail in her spare time (her goal is to hike the entire trail in her lifetime). Carol has 37+ years of experience in various managerial roles; she currently works with an AM Law 100 international firm managing East Coast operations. She has been blessed with 3 children, 3 step-children, 8 grandchildren and 1 great-granddaughter. God is good!
