The ways to help HOM are limited only by imagination. Many people in our support community have found special ways to help. There have been bake sales. Churches have made pillowcase dresses, packed care boxes, held fundraisers. Individuals have asked for donations rather than gifts. There are as many ways to help as there are creative, caring supporters of HOM.

Donate Your Vehicle

car clip artCharitable Auto Resources, Inc. (CARS™) accepts car donations for Haiti Outreach Ministries and over 500 other charitable and non-profit organizations throughout the United States.

CARS processes vehicle donations across the United States for charities of every type. CARS handles everything from the beginning to the end: from the first call or submission of a web donation form, to collecting the vehicles, bringing them to a car donation center, selling the vehicle through whatever sales venue that will generate the highest revenue, distributing the proceeds to the non-profit organization, sending the donor the final documentation including a thank you letter and providing any donor follow-up needed after the completion of the process. Frequent Flier Miles

airplane clip artWith the increased numbers of churches, individuals and organizations in the US and Canada, our Haitian pastors have been called upon to travel more extensively than in the past. While we welcome this opportunity for them to share about Haiti this has significantly increased the travel expenses for HOM. Therefore, if you, friends or members of your congregation would be willing to donate  a minimum of 25,000 frequent flier miles from American, Delta, Southwest, United, US Air and other airlines to please contact us for more information. Note that in most cases this donation will require the assistance of the donor in booking the flight on behalf of the passenger. Please contact our travel project coordinator Chris Northup to receive additional information.

Giving Of Your Time

clock clip artCreative giving also includes all those ways you are generous with your time. We are grateful for all those volunteers that have specialized experience in fields and professions that have donated their time. Unique ways you can help are certainly not limited to the list below:

  • networking with local churches and organizations
  • grant writing
  • hosting our leaders when they are in your area
  • legal and financial services
  • printing services
  • media support (photo/video assistance, print design, etc.)
  • etc.
