Dawn Walker

Dawn Walker is a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church in Charlotte, NC where she serves as the Essentials Ministries Director (toiletries pantry) as well as a youth leader for middle and high school students. She has worked as volunteer for the HOM sponsorship program since 2013, assuming the role of Sponsorship Director in April of 2017.

Dawn’s first mission trip to Haiti was in the summer of 2016 with her daughter Lora (then 15) and her husband Eddie. She reflects that the most memorable part of that mission trip was the sharp contrast of the beautiful smiles, infectious laughter, and joy of the children at play amid their very difficult living conditions.
