Flo Anne O’Brien

Flo Anne attends Palms Presbyterian Church in Jacksonville Beach, Florida.  She is married to Bob and has two children and four grandsons. Flo Anne has a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education from the University of Illinois and is a Certified Academic Language Therapist, trained at Southern Methodist University. She spent her career teaching and retired in 2003.                                                                                                                                 Flo Anne has served as the HOM Coordinator for the Haitian preschools and elementary schools under the leadership of Superintendent Jacky Dorleans and Nadege Gay for the past 5 years. She works with Jacky and Nadege to provide the resources and teacher instruction to upgrade the HOM elementary school system and to represent the schools at the Board meetings.

Flo Anne’s husband Bob became a tremendous help with reconstruction projects after the earthquake. Bob continues to assist with major construction projects today.
