What Is the Expected Cost?
A short-term mission trip is generally 1-2 weeks in length and teams should be prepared to finance their ministry while in Haiti. The daily cost of staying in Haiti is $40 per person if staying at our guesthouse, other costs include transportation, translators and project costs. Teams that come to help with building or vocational projects are asked to contribute to the cost of the project and to bring necessary equipment or tools (hammers, screwdrivers, etc.). Construction project costs depends on the scope of the project, a one-week medical clinic cost is approximately $2,000 depending on the size of the team. You may wish to bring a small amount of spending money for site seeing and to purchase gifts and souvenirs made by local artisans at the gift shop on the Terre Noire (Blanchard) campus. Trip fees may be paid 2 months in advance or brought to Haiti in the form of cash, additional information regarding fees will be provided by our trip coordinator.
