Luc was born in Port-au-Prince. After completing high-school locally, he started Bible School in 1997 at Seminaire de Theologie Evangelique de Port-au-Prince. In 1999, Luc had the opportunity to continue and finish his education at Kentucky Christian University as a Bible and Family Ministries major. Immediately following its completion, he earned his Masters Degree in Practical Ministries with Christian Education at Cincinnati Bible College in 2004. After graduation, Luc returned to Haiti and was hired at Eglise Chretienne de Terre-Noire (Blanchard Church) and continues to serve as Senior Pastor. Luc also serves as the Assitant to the Executive Director (Leon) and has many leadership duties. He oversees community outreach projects such as the microloan program, vocational school, water distribution and filters. Luc also travels to the U.S. several times a year to speak to groups about the ministry as well as fundraise.
Luc has been happily married since 2003 to his wife Louisa. They have two children, Luc Jr. and Laura Gloria. Their family happens to have a great next door neighbor – Pastor Profaite!
