Oh Happy Day! 50/20 Celebration at Terre Noire
6/2/22
Last Sunday, May 29 was a joyous day at Terre Noire. A special “50/20 Celebration” took place, honoring Leon’s 50 years in ministry and the 20 th anniversary of the Terre Noire church. A packed house was in attendance, and the event featured songs, music, words of thanksgiving, and praise for God’s goodness. Several honorary plaques and gifts were presented to Leon, Jacky, and Pastor Luc.
Pastor Luc reflects, “The 50/20 Celebration was about gratefulness! It was the expression of our gratitude to the Lord God who has been so very good to us in every way over the years, particularly the last 20 years as a church, despite all the challenges and trials our nation has faced. It was also an awesome opportunity to honor an honorable servant of God, Pastor Leon Dorleans, who has devoted most of his life to the cause of the Gospel of Christ, impacting so many lives and inspiring so many of us to follow his path. It was definitely a day we will want to remember for many other years to come!”
Special thanks to photographer Kévin Geffrard from Actu-Chretien for capturing these great
images of the celebration.
