Financial & Privacy Information

HOM is a thrifty, transparent ministry that holds overhead costs to less than 10% of donations. We are a 501(c)3 organization under the rules of the Internal Revenue Service, and all donations to HOM are tax deductible.

We proudly share our financial information. Our most recent accountants’ review and IRS Form 990 can be viewed here and here.  HOM has received the Platinum Seal of Transparency from the charity monitoring organization, GuideStar.  You can review our past audits and other organizational clicking on the GuideStar logo below.  Please email our Finance Chair with any questions.

HOM believes in donor privacy. We will not sell, trade, or share a donor’s personal information with anyone else, nor send donor mailings on behalf of other organizations. Our full privacy policy is available below.

Haiti Outreach Ministries has created this Privacy Policy to explain why we collect particular information and how we will protect your personal privacy within our Web site. The following discloses our information gathering and dissemination practices for the Web site located at the URL www.haitioutreachministries.org.

WHAT INFORMATION WE COLLECT

Our registration forms require users to give us contact information that may include name, email address,  address, interests, and similar information. This information is used to analyze trends and deliver customized, personal content.

We collect an IP address from all visitors to our Site. An IP address is a number that is automatically assigned to your computer when you use the Internet. We use IP addresses to help diagnose problems with our server, administer our Site, track users’ movement, and gather broad demographic information for aggregate use in order for us to improve the site. IP addresses are not linked to personally identifiable information.

SHARING OF PERSONAL INFORMATION

Haiti Outreach Ministries never sells, rents, leases, or exchanges your Personal Information to third parties. Your Personal Information will only be shared if we have a good-faith belief that access, use, preservation, or disclosure of the information is reasonably necessary to:
