Construction Progresses on Bible College
Construction of the Bible College is moving along steadily. These images show framing of the structure and pouring of the lower roof over the library. The next phase will involve pouring of the upper roof over the classrooms. Thank you for your continued prayers for the safety of the construction laborers working on this project.
HOM Statement on New USCIS Process for Haitian Immigration
In January 2023, the US Department of Homeland Security (DHS) announced a new process for qualifying Haitian citizens to travel to the United States and seek a temporary period of residency. This process requires, among other things, a supporter in the United States who will provide financial and other support. Individuals who are interested in learning more about this process should visit the US Citizenship and Immigration Services website for more information. Haiti Outreach Ministries is not involved in this process, nor can we provide guidance or advice to those wishing to apply or to sponsor. All inquiries should be directed to USCIS or an immigration attorney.

Bible College Breaks Ground!
Construction has begun on the Bible College on the Espwa Campus. This project is a long-held dream for HOM’s founder Leon Dorleans, and the completed facility will train local leaders for careers in ministry and service. Please pray for the continued safety of the construction laborers working on this project. Check back for updates and photos!
Update on the Crisis in Haiti & Ministry Activities
Thank you for your continued prayers for Haiti. For the most recent detailed information on our staff and our programs, please read on. What is happening in the HOM supported schools? The 3 primary schools and 1 secondary school remain unable to open due to on-going insecurity in Port-au-Prince. The main concern is the ability of students to safely get to and from school each day as gang violence remains prevalent. Until students can safely return to the classroom, our administrators and teachers have been preparing lessons and coursework that can be done at home. The lessons are picked up on a bi-weekly basis by parents, and teachers also provide instructions to the families so...
