In January 2023, the US Department of Homeland Security (DHS) announced a new process for
qualifying Haitian citizens to travel to the United States and seek a temporary period of residency.
This process requires, among other things, a supporter in the United States who will provide
financial and other support. Individuals who are interested in learning more about this process
should visit the US Citizenship and Immigration Services website for more information.
